Mentioned in another thread but here is a new thread for my new bass. I got my first fretted bass, a Gibson Ripper, over 30 years ago. I got the second one, an SX P-bass, a few days ago. It was a B-stock item and discounted well below the normal low price.
So far, I really enjoy playing it. Only issue was the third fret was high on the 4th string and made the lower notes buzz. A bit of filing and sanding got rid of that, mostly.
I wasn't that thrilled with the stock round wounds, so I put on some relatively new Ernie Ball flat wounds and the buzzing issues disappeared.
This is, surprisingly, my first chance to work much with a P-bass style bass, so I'm having a great time! Really surprising how competent this inexpensive bass is!
