This is not the first Wal with a quilted maple top that's made me drool uncontrollably. In fact, when I occasionally fantasize about ordering a new Wal I often start down the rabbit-hole of "What finish would I get?" and there are so many gorgeous possible options...but then I see a Wal with quilted maple top/back and I think "Why would I ever consider any other finish than that?"
