NBD!!!! (Warning: Rybski Content)

Could I have the specs sir?

5 string
standard Rybski body shape
24 frets
34" scale
Body: alder core with flamed maple top/alder cover for electronics on the back
Neck: hard maple with a rosewood fret board/double action spoke wheel truss rod
Brass nut
Flatter back on the neck with a Fender-ish radius on the fret board (my preference)
String spacing is smaller than 18mm (my preference)
Abalone inlays for the dots and headstock logo
Black epoxy inlay for the pick up cover logos - only the second bass he's done the pick up logos on (covers are also alder with a flamed maple cap)
18volt EMG pre-amp with volume/blend/treble/mid frequency sweep and mid volume on a stack knob/bass
Pick ups are wound by Rybski
Bridge - Hipshot Type A - black
Tuners - Hipshot Ultralights - black
Black Schaller strap locks included along with a hardshell case
I think that's it.

I was already drooling at the body description that's going to be a very nice bass.

I just went to his website those are some great prices for a custom build

I went with him due to his pricing, and because he is close by. He will do just about anything you want. You just need to make sure he understands what you mean. He's originally from Poland, so he might not understand what you want unless you make it really clear. I always keep that in mind when e-mailing with him just to make sure we're on the same page. So far, so good!

I'll say he did!! and have you heard the pups? does he only install his own?

I'm sure he'd put in any pickup you wanted him to, but he got his start winding pickups, and I like the way his sound. I haven't heard mine yet, but I did have him wind them for a slightly darker sound due to the active pre-amp system (which tends to always have biting treble even when rolled off all the way). I wanted to be able to dial out the treble more than you can with stock EMG pickups. So, I've heard his pickups, and love the sound, so I went with his combined with the EMG pre-amp.
