I'm considering one to make an Epiphone Rivoli build. I think they're mostly made in the same factory (Flyoung or FINE music). I wonder if it's fine as long as I don't put a counterfeit logo on the headstock?If nothing else, you may have a decent qulaty "husk" as an upgrade platfor
The string spacing on the 5 string Rick copy I got is very narrow, don't like it. I am more use to the 19mm string spacing on my 5 string Fodera Emperor.A 5-string Ric style is infinitely cool. I still wonder what kind of pickups would give it a more Ric-like tone. Ric's own 5-string pickups look like they only fit basses with narrow string spacing. A vintage capacitor on the bridge pickup will certainly help.
