Heheh... Before I fell in love wirh the bass guitar, I played the accordion, so take that with a grain of salt (though when I played the accordion, I was too young to care about getting attention from the ladies).

A few good drummers I know and have played with also play bass. Some as good, some not as good - seem like a logical connection (rhythm section) so I'm always encouraging.
