Got this earlier this week. I started out my fretless journey with an Epiphone defretted bass that I bought at the beginning of the ‘pando and loved the tone. So far, it’s been a ton of fun.

It's an Ibanez 804. Can't wait to get back to our jam group with it... looks like we have a new keyboardist and singer to help the groove. Here in Montana we are currently spiking so it will be a while...

Just picked this beauty up. It’s a Gretsch G5123B with flat wounds. Has a really nice tone and these are my first flats too. Very easy on the fingers.

I played one in Bozo MT last summer, then ordered from Sweetwater with my COVID savings. It’s 34” scale does me well.
