Just picked up this used MIK Allen Woody. I’ve been wanting one but they have been scarce on the used market around here. Either they were too far away or they got snapped up right away. This one was about an hour away but the owner offered to bring it to me when he was in my town on business. I haven’t had a chance to really thump on it yet, but first impression is that it’s a keeper. SN dates it to 2003.

This was the first bass I bought new. Damn fine bass. Very well made.
I’d be even more surprised if there was a Woody Allen bass club.
(My brother is a huge Gov’t Mule fan, and got an Allen Woody Bass shortly after they came out. He really likes it.)

Nice , well made basses . Mine came from the Unsung Factory in Korea . The front pickup is a little honky , but it's quite a nice sounding bass . Fun with a pick too .
neat piece! i love the look of hollow-bodies and that one carries some class into the picture. congratulations on your new instrument! 
The Unsung Factory seems to have a great reputation for quality work . I also have a V that was made there . Simple slab bodied bass without carving , inlay or binding , but still a nice bass . I wonder what other models they've made there ?
