NBD!

While their stock constantly shifts with what's available, I've always been more than a little tempted to make a Fender 'parts bass' out of OEM Fender parts . . . . from Fender themselves.

. . . . and then add the metal and electronic bits as required. The prices on their Mexican-sourced parts are very reasonable, and it's real Fender.

Hey that is beautiful, I think when you see mine you will understand why I have that opinion. Highly augmented Duff Mckagan: so Jazz neck, but new Olympic white body (from Stratosphere), Active Preamp/EQ with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pouder pups, Kick ass high mass bridge, and Rotosound strings. Totally different sound than yours, but a brother form another mother!

Hey Tony congrats, and thanks. That is a super cool/clean lookin bass! I am partial to J necks and the previous bass I put together (walnut CV 70's) is wearring a P bass special neck. The new maple neck on this build came up locally for a C-note and I could simply not pass on it, the idea was to put together a really nice bass (passive) with 'super sale' items as they came up. I am absolutely lovin this neck with the maple board and flatwounds!

I have started a build using the same body and color. Will post pics when it’s complete.
