NBD!

Yea it's definetly on the darker side I almost went with a black but it was too close to my Peavey Fury so I went with tort didn't get to pick it but I know it came from a 2020 60's or 70's CV. Thanks
And a Fury, too? Good man

Good choice going with the blocks! They really carry it to another level!

This bass was a real treat to put together and I enjoyed every minute of it, it is just an incredible player!
I know that one-two-punch feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment! It's the absolute best!

Thanks much HardNHeavy throw a pic up if ya got one.

Hey C, here's my (covid boredom build)---Oly white finished several months ago, it did have a plain maple neck up until recently. But i always wanted maple w/ block inlays, but couldn't find one reasonably priced at the time, until I was offered this neck from Joe @ Gamma guitars. $175 shipped, i couldn't pass it up.
I added the regular upgrades (hipshot bridge, ultralight tuners, wht pearl guard) The pickups are Barts, tho i'm not sure how much i like them. They're a bit on the bright side.. Already working on another p/j in champagne pearl, and i'm gonna go with those fender 62' custom shops or GZR emg's

Hiw much did the build cost?
Hey @Chrisk-K best I can figure I have real close to $375 into this bass. Everything was bought on sale over the last two months.
However what started this project out was the neck find, it was a local purchase for $100 in un-used condition. I had to add the string tree and file the nut slots.
(forgot about the string tree) so
$385-ish. :woot:

Damn fine lookin bass you got there! Pearl blocks with that pick guard looks amazing! Well done.
Enjoy your P/J project! I have heard only great things about CS 62 pick-ups as well as the GZR's.
