it's really new for me... I have always been a Jazz bass guy.. the neck profile scared me, but it is really comfortable.
Not as big as I thought. I like the neck a lot. Very smooth and I like a bigger neck anyways. But coming from a jazz might take some getting used to.

I dig it. The custom pickgaurd I had made for my Dingwall was partially inspired by the look of this Yamaha. Always liked the way they looked just more of a 5 string guy myself.

yeah, after hearing Sheehan speak about it I stayed away too.. But then I decided to get it anyway.. not that big at all
It's certainly larger than usual but once you get used to it its incredibly comfortable and I can plaiy it for hours and hours without my left hand fatiguing like it does on smaller necks.
I got such a great deal on it from Sam Ash that I had to buy it...
LOL! I got it for my birthday.. it's bluetooth so it pairs with speakers in the house.. it just fit perfectly up there. The records don't play through the Hartke..
