It’s a kind of brass coloured metal. Apparently caused earthing problems on the six string guitars but all good here.Excellent! What colour is that pickguard?
Sorry. It’s staying as is!Put a black pick guard on it. It would look so good
I know what you mean about the sound. Tried a few of them (they all sound different) and preferred my Ultra Precision. This one sounds much closer to it but still has that big lion growl.Texas Tea is an awesome looking color. That subtle sparkle in the finish and the pickguard with binding. beauty.
Sadly the sound didnt do it for me.
Sweet!View attachment 4310874 It was going to happen. I just needed a good excuse. Fender are starting to get so rare in the shops that I found a chain that still had this in the warehouse and took it. Honestly thought I could sell it and make a profit from the Christmas drought but I’ve had it six hours now and all I can say is “from my cold, dead hands”! Even the binding, that I didn’t like, on this bass is faultless. So good that I think it may be painted on. Don’t care. I’m having an early Christmas!!
Ran out of vinegar. Why do you have a pint of mustard on your table?
American Ultra series. Had the Precision from that range for about two years now and have never loved playing bass so much. Despite pandemic fate has let me afford one more making me feel very privileged. What model is it? I like block inlays a lot but I’m bad at id’ing models at a glance.
