So I just snagged this. 2004 Standard MIM pbass. It came with a white guard so of course tort had to go on it, and TIs. I actually really like this one. Even across the board with tone and sounds great. I know these are a dime a dozen but Gonna keep this one. Whatcha think?

If I had that, I'd keep it! It's a classic look, and if it plays and sounds great (love TI flats on a P!), why would you ever let it go?

GOT to have a faux tortoise pickguard on that color scheme. To me, this with the ambered clear neck finish with rosewood fingerboard is exactly what a traditional PBass should look like, along with a 60's DuPont car color and matching head like Candy Apple Red, and the earlier single foil PB in butterscotch.

Congrats.

I've been telling myself I need to pick up the Squier version of this, add the ashtrays and sorta flat strings to have a little Motown tribute bass. This one's a great reminder.
