Not yet. Unfortunately I had to go to work today and I have a busy holiday weekend with the family so it’s looking like next week when I will finally be able to plug it in and play it
The dark knight fretless is one of the coolest Fenders I've ever seen, aside from some true vintage roadworn examples.
I love it and hope your anxiety about it goes away and you can fully enjoy that aweosme bass.

That's a real beauty. If it plays great and you like it, keep it. If it has all of the case candy warranty cards and what have you. Especially if the S/N on the box matches the bass. Chances are it's brand new. Usually With most of the big online sellers if it's a customer return or if it's a demo it will be clearly stated on the product page and it will be sold for a discount. I guess if you're not 100% sure you could call Fender CS and give them the serial number and see if that number has ever been registered before. Either way that is a really nice looking bass guitar. You could return it for another one but you just never know how the next one might be. In the meantime play that sucker and love it!
I’m not expecting it to be on the same level as my stingray special and bongo. I had a fender American professional fretless in 2019 that was a great bass. I sold it to help fund a stingray special 5 string and I also had a Tony Franklin that I will admit probably wasn’t the best quality. The g string was weaker than the other strings and the issue was fixed but happened again.
So hopefully I finally get to try this bass out tomorrow after a week!! I’m thinking about plugging it into my fender ACB50 amp. Since fretless and midrange go together this should be very interesting. Those of you that know anything about this amp know that it can be strong in the mids. I will eventually use this bass with my super bassman 300 rig.
And today I finally got to try the bass out with our group. I used the fender ACB50 combo amp with it. The bass sounded awesome. I could easily get by with using this bass for a whole set. I turned the volume off of the neck pick up for the slower songs and got the mwah fretless tone I needed. Then for the other songs I turned the neck pickup back up. The bass surprised me. The pickups had a high amount of output through this amp. It definitely blows away the American special jazz bass I used to have. I even tried that bass through a tube amp and was underwhelmed. The quality on this bass at the moment seems top notch. Hopefully it will remain that way. It plays great too. It plays and sounds WAYYYYY better than the Tony Franklin that I got rid of. This thing has sustain that those other fender basses didn’t have. Right now the quality of this bass is on par with my stingray special and Bongo 5 string. I can’t shut up about it because with it being fretless you would expect it to not have as high output as those other basses. But it did!!! Maybe the tube amp made the difference. My other fender basses were played through a fender rumble 500 combo and a fender rumble 800 head and rumble 410
