I've been on the lookout for the right color Precision Bass, and that one is actually the right blue color, but at the bare minimum for me, it needs that Jazz Pickup, and if I could make it in the Mod Shop or some custom thing, it would be a 5-string, but yes, that's the right color. I looked at that series in Daytona Blue, and considered the Tele and HSS Strat as well. I think they should have done a Jazz Bass in that color too since they'd already done Daytona Blue for the 3 out 4 major instrument lines... but... inexplicably... no. Fender does things that make no sense. Great color! Enjoy!Just got a new p-bass a Fender player plus Saturday night special in Daytona blue. I have been playing it for about 2 days now and love it. I adjusted the neck which didn’t take much at all and adjusted the strings down low with no buzz and plays great
What's the wireless unit you're using with that bass?
If it's stock, then they're most likely .105-gauge Fender 7250M Nickel Plated Steel strings. That's what's currently listed as installed with the Player Plus P-basses and, quite probably, what most come with out of the factory.I have not changed the strings yet as these are not bad at all does anybody what comes from Fender on them?
