Just picked up this used AV II from a shop on Reverb. Added Res-O-Lites and the pearl guard. Build quality is perfect, and it looks and plays great. Weight is 8.2 without the pickup cover. I've been jonesing for a SCPB forever, glad I snagged this one.

I have heard a lot of SCPB's and the AV II stands out
Considerd one 2 years ago but stuck to choice I already made Stingray Special but it is still on my mind

Blonde with white pickgaurd would be my choice

Makes me think of the late great Wilton Felder . I see your Jaco avatar. Jaco and Wilton were Joni Mitchell’s favorite bass players to work with .

That bass is a beauty and would sound perfect on some Joni songs.

Well done, @Bikeguy57! Between the nitro finish, fiber saddles, & amazing necks, these authentic vintage recreations hit all the right chords!

No breaking news I love mine and will be playing it tonight.
