NBD!

I just picked up a new bass at SamAsh. Its a Red '91 Peavey Foundation. I wouldn't have given this bass a second glance if my uncle hadn't been there. He had an older Foundation that he still kicks himself for selling. Well this thing just plays like butter. It has the Lowest action I've ever seen and amazing tone. The bass and original hardshell case for $225. I feel like I've made a smart choice. Any one else out there dig these basses?

Hay Solid,

I dig um big time. I used to have one..... I
became disabled and had to loose most my
gear. Darn-it!!!

I did manage to find a pawn shop Fury for
$60.

It went from this,

The neck on this Fury is the best neck I ever
played and with the B&G pickups I installed, I
can not tell which one sounds better, this or
my son's US Fender P,

I have the same bass in white with a maple fretboard. My (adult) son saw & played mine, & wound up buying one in blue/rosewood. So, yeah, we hear where you're coming from...

I wish Peavey still made a quality bass...like the Foundation or Dyna, at a reasonable price, in the USA. I'd buy one in a minute.

I've played several different Peaveys and currently own the best one I've ever played which is a USA Millennium Plus. After 2 years of buying, returning, selling, and learning here at TB, I'm convinced that the best bass I've ever played was the Peavey Cirrus and my Mill+.

Was this from the Sam Ash on Lee Road in Orlando? If it is that's one of my old Foundations.
It was the orlando lee rd samash. My uncle lives near there so we always go to the music stores when I come up. If this was your bass, could you tell me if the knobs are original. The bridge pickup volume knob looks different than the neck volume and tone.
