Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I've had three HB basses, a BZ5000, an Enhanced 5 P/MM and P DIY kit and with the first two there's no trace of sharp frets (however in the P Kit there are plenty... )

Shocked at how dominant the MM pickup is in the over all sound of this bass. I was really wishing for the "P" tone to be strongest, (I know I can just dial up more P pickups..)..interesting..

No,it's a mistake on the specs. It's " 6-Way bolted Canadian Hard Rock Maple neck".Is it really a six piece neck?
The P pup is hugely louder than the MM on mine when either are soloed.
