Washington is back at it with Oregon State coming to town. That won't budge any needles. Alabama is the team going through what should be a tough stretch, but they sure don't seem to be having any issues. Clemson is at Florida State. They keep sneaking out of town with wins, so that's the game that is intriguing.

Dartmouth plays Columbia. It's Ivy League football, so anything can happen, but that's as close to a gimmie as you get. Yale plays Penn. Penn is probably the better team. However, see above. That's what makes it fun to follow Ivy League football. Harvard actually lost a game. It wasn't to another Ivy, but it's a start. There might be hope for knocking the juggernaut off course a little.

Dartmouth shall win. I have declared it. I'm happy with the team Teevens has on the field this year. They lost some leaders on both sides of the ball, but remain competitive.

Florida has BYE this week. I think they'll squeak out a win.

Tomorrow is the day. In 1985, the Beavers upset the highly ranked Huskies. It could happen again. ESPN is giving Oregon State a 2% chance of winning. It's college football, so that's absurd. There are going to be oddball upsets, and this one feels like it could be a huge trap, since the Huskies go to Utah next week. The Huskies are favored by 37 points. They were favored by 38 when they got upset 31 years ago.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean bad things won't happen.

I got the same feeling about the Dawgs this weekend. I'm fairly certain it'll be a cakewalk for UW, but part of me wonders if they slip up here. Lot's of unfamiliar pressure on the team. Several members of the national media were in Seattle this week covering the team.

I am not swayed by your Holtzian poor-mouthing. The Huskies, favored by 37, will roll.
