NCAA Football

Both of my nephews are FSU grads, & my brother is a Tennesee grad. They all live in the Naples, FL area. Needless to say, they HATE HATE HATE everything about the Florida Gators.

It doesn't help that the Gators have been kicking their butts for going on three years now! Tell your relatives howdy from a BIG time Gator fan, especially the UT boy. :D

Boo-YEAH!!! :D

I think both Michigan and FL can make strong cases that they should be in the title game. Let's face it, the BCS is broke. The only way to fix it is with a playoff system.

I agree. I think the fairest way to settle this would have been a play-off game between UF and UM, with the winner playing OSU.

However, since that's not an option, I think FL going to the MNC game is justified since Michigan did not win it's conference. Most of the other major conferences have championship games (even the weak ACC) and Michigan might have had its chance at a rematch then.

And not to beat a dead horse, but you should compare Michigan's quality wins to Florida's. UM beat an overated ND (also beaten by an overated USC who lost to two unranked teams this year) and Wisconsin (who did not beat a ranked opponent this year). Michigan fans can argue that their only loss was to the number one team in the country, but what are the chances that they could have played Florida's schedule and only come out with one loss? Of course we'll never know.

Hey! Don't use "dead horse" and "USC" in the same paragraph.

(I'm still bleeding from Saturday...but Roses are good.)

And...Geaux Tigers!!!

Props to your Gators Mike. They are making OSU look like a big joke.

I bet you noticed the hold and the block in the back on Ginn's return. :D I figured it would haunt you guys, but they are laying down the law on both sides of the ball.

Thanks abark. You are exactly right how I was thinking. :D

I TOTALLY flipped on that Ginn return. I kept replaying it on my DVR screaming at the TV. I had some friends over, but none of them were huge Gator fans so they were not nearly as passionate as I was. I could not believe that those were not called. The hold could not have been more obvious.

I kept thinking to myself....if we lose by less than seven points, I am going to find those refs and kick their butts!!! Which would not have been hard, they were Pac-10 officials.
