NCAA Football

here's a pretty good break down of mich vs notre dame and usc vs notre dame:

the one difference i don't remember seeing is that michigan won in south bend, usc @ home. i do think a good point of debate is the fact that michigan lost the the #1 team in the country, and usc lost to an unranked and 4 loss beaver team.

i really hope that michigan gets florida or another worthy team for the rose bowl, i think it was a shame to hear the announcers trying to pre-hype a notre dame v michigan rematch in the rose bowl. assuming florida and usc don't lose this weekend :ninja:

Yea, you guys are gonna be thankful for Mark D'antonio... he went TO Cincinnati, after being Jim Tressel's defensive master mind at OSU, during thier national championship year!

Expect a NASTY attacking defense!

Look, if they ever actually play in a conference with other FOOTBALL teams, I'll take 'em seriously, until then, they're just another bunch of west-coast pretty boys in pretty uniforms.

My old high school team could probably have posted a winning record in the PAC10!

And I don't take their win against ND as any mark of them being a "serious" team - let's see 'em take on an SEC team, betcha they'd even struggle against Old Miss!

I totally hate whatever it is that they call football out there, but facts are facts. They whooped Arkansas earlier this year.

Oh dang Gard, you set yourself up for this one. Too much excitement running through your blood after the Saints win maybe. :D

Well, USC did go TO Arkansas and destroy that team by a score of 50-14. The last time I checked, Arkansas is a BCS team.

They also beat up on Nebraska. Surely you have some amount of respect for the Nebraska football program?

I still say PAC10 football blows chunks, and if USC had to play a schedule like UF, UGA, Alabama, Auburn, or LSU, there's no way they'd have the outrageous W-L stats they do.

Oh, and I'd stand by the other statement, my old HS team could post a winning record in the PAC10.

Hey I have to agree, although I don't like LSU, I went to Arkansas and I am the only one wearing red in a sea of blue and yellow

OK, I might give a little on that point, since I live in SEC land now. The Oregons and Arizonas aren't what they used to be, and UCLA is a shadow of its 80s & 90s teams. <But we still look pretty and have the best band...>
