NCB! GB410T-UB-4

New (used) cab day for me. Got this fantastic Genz Benz 4x10 for a hair under $300 and it sounds fantastic so far. So crisp and articulate. It's currently paired up to my GBE 600 head. Like a match made for each other 😆 I'm excited to try it out at a jam session this coming weekend!

I definitely didn't need another 4x10, but for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Wow, I'd lock your doors. Someone might be comin for you after that steal of a deal. Nice looking cab. Enjoy it.

BTW--- check the grille, it looks like it might have slipped down from the very top of the baffle. There are 3M fast-lock snaps that hold this grille frame to the cabinet baffle.

No kidding! Thank you for yet another amazing piece of gear. I've looked at these cabs for years, and am happy to be the owner of one now.

Good catch. I'll get that sorted straight away :)

HECK YA!!! :hyper:

No situation is too large to play with that beauty.
Enjoy!!!
Thanks! I agree. 4x10 seems to be the sweet spot for me currently. I am stoked on this find. Master volume on the GBE 600 at 8:30 o'clock with the input gain modestly low and it already sounds massive. I'm sure I'll turn it up a bit during practice, and can't wait to see how it performs with other instruments playing at the same time.

I spent more than twice that on a used GB Uber 410 and it was worth every penny. For only 300$ you would be doing yourself a great disservice not to have bought it. Especially now you know how great these cabs sound! Great gear score. Cheers!

I believe it! I can see how these are worth the money, even at a higher price.

I like that it has the 3 handles, slide rails on the back, and wheels for moving. I have short legs and a long torso/arms, so it's actually useful. I know sometimes people prefer a 6x10 or 8x10 for moving on flat ground because they don't have to bend over to move it as much. I agree that those larger cabinets still have the advantage there, but I'm thankful this feature is still useful for me on this 4x10! Plus it's the lightest 72 lb cabinet I've felt  Even taking it up the steps into my house is much easier than a fridge cab, which gives me hope for lugging it around.

Thanks for your input! I'm glad to have joined the club.

Best cabs in the business, IMHO!!

I'm very pleased with it so far! I can't argue with you there. I don't see myself ever getting rid of this cab! GAS satisfied for cabs for the foreseeable future. So long as I don't look too hard at something like a Mesa Subway 112 ;) That'll be for another rainy day... or another great deal if I stumble upon one like I did with this cab.

Absolutely screaming deal! Play it like you stole it…
Cause he did . The Uber series were (and still are) amazing cabs. I had a 212 back when they came out, it was a fantastic cab that would take anything I could throw at it. To big now for a 70 yr old but it was quite the great-sounding beast.

;) It'll be our TB secret.

The 212 looks very nice as well, and I would have bought that just as readily if it was for sale instead of the 410. I can imagine that cab is just as excellent. I'm curious what the Uber 810 would be like... do people even survive those encounters? Lol.

I love a deal good enough to bother my conscience.

Congrats !

Thank you! I'll play my guilty conscience away with sweet, sweet bass tones.

Thanks! Sounds like you got one heck of a deal as well on your 115. I hope you can eventually find another cab to pair for a 4 ohm stack. It seems like these cabs are holding value pretty well, but I'm rooting for you to find a deal!

I agree there are some amazing lightweight cabs being produced now. I am happy about that for those that prefer/need a lighter cabinet. It gives me hope that the older, heavier cabinets will be cleared out of people's collections and sold at a more reasonable price. If not for me, then for a younger musician starting out who needs quality gear at a more affordable price.
