Wow, this is an amazing story, and I love the end result! Making things from unneeded bits of other things is fun for me too!

This is an amazing gift, and the fact it's made form repurposed chopper parts elevates it to another level.

As far as names, @fourstringdrums pointed out that it looks like a robot. I agree, and would say it seems like a friendly robot that will generate laughs, music and songs! For that reason, if you've not settled on a name, I think the suggestions from @stigbeve and @40Hz are the best I can think of:

Huey or Igor

Thanks much for the kind words! There were a bunch of great name suggestions, and I thank everyone who contributed. In my mind, one of them really stands out and simply says "this is what I am", and that name is (drum roll) "Chinook"!
