The Wedgie performed well on Friday night (sadly I have thus far been unable to find pictures from the night among the socials of the various attendees and photogs); used it in amp position since we miraculously had a soundman who believed in putting bass in his monitors. Sounded nice and strong behind me, and was good to have it there when I stepped back from the front of the stage and out of the monitors’ throw. Otherwise, hard to tell what it was really doing with a stage full of sounds and earplugs in, but the tone when soundchecking was coming through. Really looking forward to how it sounds at rehearsal this weekend compared to the WJ, which is what I’d been going through.

Hey, just wondering if you have any more thoughts on this cab after trying it out in different situations. Would love to hear more if you're inclined to share. I've been seriously considering one and any thoughts post-field testing would be very helpful. No worries if not, though!

My only experience with Accugroove was listening to Bill Burke playing bass on his Warr Guitar in a remodeled old church that was turned into an event hall. It was thunderous and things were falling from the rafters. He was using an El Wappo.

Yeah, actually--in addition to being great as an amp unto itself, it makes a great PA (even has the pole mount, although we're just using it kicked back on the floor). My band rehearses at my house, and our previous setup was using my Wayne Jones for bass, my Phil Jones for the electronic drum kit (only used in rehearsal), and my Acoustic Image CodaR II for vocals. I bought a used little 8-channel SoundCraft mixer, and we're now running vocals, bass and drums all through the Wedgie+ and it's the best we've sounded in rehearsal in a long time. Cuts down on setup time because I'm only hauling out the one cab for rehearsal, and I sold the PJB to the drummer for his own practice kit. Gonna sell the Wayne Jones now too.

Finally getting that setup right came at a weird time, as I'm quitting that band tonight after our gig. But I have another project in development that I'll still use that setup for, so it's all good!
