I just scored a pair of like-new Hartke HyDrive 112 cabs off of CL for a great low price, and paired them with my SWR Headlite amp.
I had read mixed reviews on the Hartke cabs, but all worries disappeared when I fired it up with my trusty Spector NS-4.
Killer sounding rig, super portable, & sounds great with my active Spectors and my passive Fenders. :bassist:

Good point.
Even with my 400w Headlite, I need to be careful with the master volume.
An Eden WTX-264 or an Aguilar Tone Hammer 350 might just do the trick...

Hmm, I just got an GK MB500 and GK Neo 112-II in yesterday. Just playing in the house at low levels won't hurt anything, right? I am going to add a 2nd 112 soon but everywhere is out of stock that I normally buy from.

You should be good if you are just playing at reasonably low home volumes, but be careful with that master volume until your 2nd cab arrives. :bassist:

I'm using SWR as well, a 350x. I had a Hydrive 112 and sadly let it go. I've been thinking about picking up another. The ohm selector is fantastic. I can't believe more companies don't put them on their cabs. Great looking setup! Take care,

That is actually becoming the rig of choice for a lot of working Hartke players. With the switchable impedance, you can still get headroom and "oomph" at lower powers using a single cab (small gigs up to smallish medium rooms) and the stack is on par with, IMHO, most 15-4X10 stacks. Can it move quite as much air? No, but the results overall in a medium to large room are exceptional. Until recently, this was my rig of choice, paired with a Hartke LH500. If you have patience, I'd recommend the new Hartke 600W lightweight head coming to stores now. I tried it at NAMM, and its all Hartke and overall a great design that works well paired with this type of rig. My two pennies....
