NCD - Mesa 115 UL (winner!) vs Markbass GOG

Yes, about half the time. An Alleva-Copollo EUT5. Which is so good I really could use it for everything. It has Chrome strings on atm
But for a pub Rock gig I use a 2013 Gibson EB4 which has tapewounds on.
I was enquiring as a 5 string of course, has even more capabilities to make the speakers "flap".
Oh yeah, even more so with the B-flat!

I know I shaged up. I Really didn’t understand the way low end sub frequencies impact the power rating. I’m learning, and am keeping the HPF up around noon 24/7 for now. I love this 215, and don’t want to hurt it. I’m also using the 2ohm into the 4 ohm cab trick to help, but I still just want to be careful. No deep switch, and keep the HPF up, overall volume lower too.

I wonder how the deep switch impacts the HPF, as it seems in the manual all they imply that the deep switch lowers the floor of the HPF? I’m not gonna play with it for now, at least till I get that.

Last Sun was awesome, use the 215 and felt really solid for every gig. Going up north to outdoor thing this weekend, looking forward to seeing how that 215 holds up outside. Loving it!
