Was looking to replace my bulky old Emperor 212/15 with something a little more mature and economical, not to mention easier on the back. Sean at Tyrant hooked me up with a NOS cab and delivered it to my door! 15" deep ported 212 loaded with Eminence Kappas, stained in walnut with black/brown basket weaved grill cover. Powered by the 370, I've got growl for days and the volume to match.

Those are handsome cabinets, but they don't look very light to me. Are they using solid wood instead of plywood?

The Tyrant Tone website is a big letdown. Aside from dimensions, there aren't any specifications for the cabinets. There are nice pictures but they're in the gallery section and you have click on each one to know what configuration you're looking at. Bass and guitar cabs are all interspersed.

I'm dying to try a Tyrant tone or an Atlas cab... Have you bought them from the USA or there is any chance to find them in Europe? I can't find them either or Reverb or the major Italian classifieds site..

Bought straight from the US - I have a 1x15 / 1x12 being made by them at the moment (For guitar), and I'm probably going to add a 1x12 or 2x10 basscab to the one I already have. They do pop up on Reverb from time to time, but its rare, and I have never seen one in Europe for sale..

They are decidedly not light. My 215 is easily 80lbs. I couldn’t even hazard a guess on what it would cost to ship overseas.
I have seen an Atlas cab for sale here on TB, not the same cab, I know, but the same weight range I guess. It's "local pickup only" because they asked 350$ to ship it IN THE USA. No wonder there aren't many here in Europe
