Hmm ... I was under the impression that angles slow the electron flow, resulting in latency issues.

Well, you need to use a compressor in your signal chain to push those electrons forward. That's the downside.

Truth! But...

• who doesn't have a USB port handy these days? We're well into the 21st century. If one is posting on TB, one has access to USB.
• there are other options for charging.
• one is not plugged into a charger when one is playing.
• I enjoy not being "chained in place," and being able to walk around the entire venue while playing.

TBF, I do keep a plain ol' cable in my bag. Just in case. I'd be silly not to.
