I used EZ Lok threaded inserts and the WD Music neck was not pre-drilled. This is my 2nd time doing this to an instrument so I think I did a better job this time. I have a keen eye for geometry so I think I got this one done right.

Or a strat. The blue/silver burst is based on Fender's custom Deltone Surf-burst made by Leo for his R&D team (pictured below).Not a lefty to match the photo though...
I saw him live in a small venue in Eugene, OR in 2002(?). Great show and unmistakable tone.
Hand sanded the mint green pickguard to fit the neck today and decided to plop the control plate in just for a little "dress up" time. Next steps: tuners/nut and bridge (both Hipshot):
