The handles and things are different than on my Messina, but I thought the same thing. I'm not sure how long he's been making them, maybe this is an older iteration. No tag on it anywhere.

I was a student of Dave Messina's back in the late 1990s and early 2000s and he was making cases then. My recollection was that his cases at the time were much like they are now, although I only remember seeing blue bags as opposed to the panoply of color options available now.
