I picked up this p bass body at a garage sale. It was in a box with some other stuff, like pick guards, bridges, etc.... I don't know what it is. Looks like a fender, could be a squier. Is there any way to tell by looking at the markings on the neck pocket? There are some numbers on it. It looks like a serial number with an R in it. The R is before the first number. It also has a signature and what appears to be a date but I can't read it.
