Neck question

Looking at a Fender P-bass Special,everything looks good and works but the back of the neck has a lot of small nicks.I am sure I can get this for under $300 because he's had it awhile and want to sell it(pawnshop).Short of replacing whats the best way to fix the nicks? None of these are really that bad.

If they aren't bad enough to worry about getting splinters, I don't think I'd worry about them.

Depending on how deep the nicks are, you can simply sand the back of the neck smooth then put the finish of your choice back on. Some players like no finish on the back of their necks. Should be a simple fix.

Thanks for the quick replies,be a couple days before I can get back over there.They've had it for awhile I know because of the dust!
