Well, having watched kids at group lessons, recitals, etc., nothing surprises me any more.My son's 1/4 size cello had a repaired neck heel when we got it.
I had a family bring in their cello for repair for the third time, this time a broken neck, so I said, "You need to put the cello on it's side on the floor so it can't fall and hurt itself." And the mother said, "No, the cello falls out of the SUV when I raise the hatch."
