    Hi,
Haven't been online for awhile, COVID has kept me kinda busy. I have a friend who did me a HUGE heavy, making him a '51 (Warmoth) P-bass with a jazz neck. I have a HM hipshot bridge and a Fralin and Seymour Duncan Custom shop P-'51 stack on hand, any ideas? The Warmoth body is drying (deep red, not candy-apple ish), body is drying as we speak. Any ideas? Don't have tuners yet. I want to blow him away. I've always loved Fralin pups, I really don't remember how I got the Duncan, but it's here when I went through my stuff. He really wouldn't use a drop-d too much. BTW, I need some ideas as to the pickguard as well.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ed

    Out there!
    Hey Ed!

Get Hipshot tuners, either whichever model it is that replicates the Fender/Kluson keys, or, if it doesn't have to look correct, I would use Ultralites.

Can't say as to the pickups, never tried Fralins, but I did like the Duncans I put in the California Precision Special I used to own (Vintage P/Classic Stack J).

Pickguard - Pickguardian is where I'd go; Tony has made a lot of great pickguards for me over the years.

Post pics of the body once it is dry!
