Need advice from gear-heads

Besides the Ernie Ball pedal mentioned by Matt O, Page 5 of the Ampeg SVT-4 PRO manual illustrates how this can be done. The Hartke L1000 delivers 500W into an 8 0hm load, a bit too much for an Acoustic B410C cabinet. The Hartke L500 delivers 350W into an 8 ohm load. Both amplifiers will require finding a stereo processor that can pan between channels will be the challenge. This not a complete listing of bass amplifiers with dual channel outputs. The Boss GT-1000 has a pan function, the the manual is unclear if this is a true pan between channels or simply an A/B switch.
