Need advice on amp

Hi bass lovers. I no longer have an amp, so it really sucks. I've been looking at this Beringer 90w for $250. I wonder if it's any good. If you know anything about it, please help! Or if you know about cheap amps ($200-300) Thanx,

Bill,
There are a few people here on T.B. that swear "by" Behringer....but most people here swear "at" Behringer.
You won't find many recommending Behringer bass amps.
There's a flood of good bass combos on the market right now at $400.00 and under.
I'd suggest looking at G.C.'s Acoustic B100 or B200 combos. Fender's Rumble series 115 or their 210, G.K. Backline combos, Ampeg's small combos, SWR's LA series, ect.
I've played through Fender's Rumble 115 and 210 combos.
They are both 100 watts and have xlr outs. They both sound pretty good. The 115 is $349.00, and the 210 is $399.00.
You might also watch the T.B. classifieds for a used bass combo. Some real bargains pop-up often!

if you just want a practice amp then about 100w would be fine. if you plan on playing with a band you will want something at 300w or more.

check musiciansfriend.com they have some good inexpensive gear. just type "bass amp" and there you go.
