I got this bass online previous owner must have taken a Brillo or something to it, any suggestions on improving the look ? I tried car scratch remover it wouldn’t buff out so I’m at a loss

Umm, I'd try very lightly going over the finish with some 0000 steel wool and evening out those scuff marks. Then possibly, after the 0000, go over it with some auto polish. You might actually end up with a nice looking satin finish. Good luck!

Perhaps going front to back with the 0000 instead of swirling it.
