This has probably been beaten to death.I have a one time chance to upgrade my amp rig.I currently have an Ampeg BA115,which in small venues or PA options,has worked out ok.I have up to $2,000 to spend(not that I need to spend it all)I like simplicity,and portability.I don't need a million diverse tones.I don't know a whole lot about amps,have had same rig for 6 years.I've heard good/bad on just about all makes so would appreciate informed opinions.Thanks in advance

Small rack + preamp with DI + power amp + (maybe) compressor if the preamp doesn't have one.
Your choice of 2 x 10's, 4 x 10's, 2 x 12's.
Neo speakers and QSC PLX amps are your friends.
I'm thinking ACME, Avatar, or any other as LONG AS your power amp matches your setup.

Simple? Great sound? Easy to transport and setup? Will cover practically ANY gig? Not terribly expensive? Reliable as a brick?
