NEED AMP HELP!!!!

I just purchased a Behringher UltraBass 210 cab. I dont have a preamp but i do have a combo with a line out. I got no cables or anything else other than the cab itself. What do i need to do to play the cab using the combo.

First things first. Can your combo actually handle an extension speaker cabinet? Many can not.

What make and model is your combo?

i have 2 peaveys. one is a max 15B. the other is a 1980's audition 30.

I'm pretty certain that neither will be able to handle your extension cabinet. Sorry.

In order to use a speaker cab with a combo amp, the combo amp must have an EXT SPKR out put, and then, you'd also need a SPEAKER cable. I would doubt either of those 2 amps to have said spkr out, but just save up for a used bass head to use with your 2x10.

Yes, he said LINE OUT. That is line level friend, you can plug that into a mixing board, DI or into another amp... which is what you need in order to run that 210.

Thanks for the input. i am in the market for a used or cheap head, but i was hoping the combo could carry me over 'till i find one. oh, well the amp will have to be used as furniture for now...
