Need cabinet advice

Trying to put together a budget rig for home use. Im not currently gigging so thats not an issue. I have a Crown Com Tech 210 power amp and a Tec 21 RBI on the way. Im in need of a cabinet and Im looking at a used Hartke 410xl for $200 or a new Genz Benz Focus-LT FCS-210T . Im leaning towards the grunge/punk sound. Which of these cabinets would best help me achieve my goal. Maybe neither?

I would say at least a 4x10 although I wouldn't necessarily be looking at the Hartke. I don't know anything about them. They may be a great choice, I don't know, but since you will likely at some point be trying to get a matching cab, I'd go ahead and spend the money on a good one.

I have a 410XL, and like you I am at the moment not gigging, only home use.
This cab is to big for home use, and it's too loud. Depends how big your mansion is. ;)

And if I ever do get a gig again I will not be using the 410XL... it's becoming to heavy for me.

Subjectively: the Hartke XL410 is one of the best cabs I ever owned/played through. It sounds very great and goes deep (enough for me). This thing is a beast and great quality.

I don't know anything about the GB Focus 210.

I got an Ampeg PF115LF for home use this week... but also more than loud enough. Sounds totally different from my Hartke.

Be on the lookout for some nice 1x12 or 1x15 cab. Maybe sealed for home use would make more sense. Unless you really like ported cabs.
All depends on the specific cab anyway. Any sort of tone you are going after?
