the 4x10 is rated at 8oo watts...if i ran a power amp(this one)

which at 8ohms runs two channels at 450 each......will this hurt the power amp from underpowering the speakers..........the 18 is 500 watts at 8oms so 450 is just about right the auction ends in acouple of days so what do yall think

Dude, OSB is crap. Never buy a cab that isn't made out of plywood. OSB is more like particle board. I've seen OSB and MDF cabs that have had huge chunks taken out of them just from banging into a wall. And god forbid they get wet.

No. Please search on "underpowering" for a full explanation, but basically the answer is no.

But if you want more volume....then you might need more power
