Im sure someone here has built there own pedals before. I have an ampeg svt-5 pro that can use a 4 button footswitch. It is discontinued and I haven't found one for sale anywhere so I want to make one. I emailed ampeg and they sent me schematics. It looks pretty straightforward but I could use some input on where to source parts and pieces, and there might be things I have overlooked. Here is the schematic:

That is one of the simplest schematics I have ever seen! Sould be easy to do. You can get the parts from Mouser, Jameco, Small Bear, or even a decent-sized local hardware store (if it has an electronics section).
Jacks look fine. What's not clear to me from the schematic is whether they are momentary or latched switches - the difference is important.
The schematic vaguely indicates that they are momentary (due to the shape of the switch symbol) but as I'm not sure I would recommend you find out from the manufacturer.

They look like normally open momentary switches. In fact, that's the standard symbol for them.

A normally closed momentary switch will be depicted as closed in a circuit diagram, on the OPPOSITE side, ie. stepping on it will break the signal. The ones in your diagram are normally open momentary switches. Which are not SPST switches. You would have to step on a SPST switch twice.
