Need help... fast, if possible

Buy one Hartke HyDrive 112 with selectable impedance for 4 and 8Ω operation now and another later if needed. That way you can choose to use one cab with 4Ω load and/or two cabs with 8Ω load.
BAM! I've got 2 of the HyDrive 112's - use them in pairs or separately and the switchable impedance was the MAIN reason I picked them up. I don't have any trouble staying up with, or even ahead of, the rest of the band's volume level.

I appreciate your direction on this. However, I am taking advantage of Sweetwater's promotional 48 month, 0% financing, so I will have to buy new. I didn't see the Ashdown 500 available on their site.

Understand about financing.
The two amps I mentioned were for sale on the classifieds on this board so no financing option there.
You might consider the Peavey Mini Mega; a lot of guys on this board like this amp alot plus it saves you $150

Peavey MiniMAX 500-Watt Lightweight Bass Head

There is also a Peavey Headliner that has 1,000 watts that's cheaper than the TH350 too.

Not that there is anything wrong with the TH350; if you want clean headroom, I'm not convinced a 350 watt head and a signle driver cabinet are going to get you where you want to be. OTOH, if it doesn't work out, it can be easily returned.
Good luck.

So you think I should be looking at at least a 500w head... correct?

My advice is get the rumble 500 head from SW and then drive up to A2 and pick up this to hold you over until you get a better cab.

I picked up a hartke 210 cab for $25 on CL that I keep at our practice space and it works great. I'm sure that 410 cab would do everything you need to and I can attest that the rumble head sounds great through the 210 cab I have.

I'm happy with my Rumble for 18 months now, but learned the difficult way that I like it better with 10" drivers.

Sorry to derail from OP's question, but can you tell me about the sound of your Rumble? I'm looking for a new cab and they're right in the sweet spot for my budget. Currently playing a Markbass LM800 through a Mesa Boogie 1x15 want something like a 4x10 (I think).

This is a smidge over your budget, and please someone chime in, but...
RS210 Bass Cabinet | RevSound

It's a 4 ohm 210 that handles 650 watts, so essentially half what the the TH350 can dish out. But, you get all 350 watts. Seems like a good, lightweight punchy rig.
I appreciate the tip. I need to order through Sweetwater since I am going to finance my equipment. Promotion going on right now... 48 months @ 0%

Yes, I would highly recommend 500 watts RMS or greater.
BTW, the power handling rating of a speaker cabinets is the thermal limit of the voice coil.
This does not mean that you can turn the volume and bass full up and expect driver(s) to last; i.e 500 watt cabinet, 500 watt head.
Based on normal, standard equipment, brand name cabinets like Peavey, Fender, Hatke, Ampeg, GK,etc., my advice (and I am generalizing here) would be 2x10 minimum, a 2x12 , 2x15, or 4x10.

This would be for gear that will hold up over the long run and played with a rock band (with reasonable stage volume) without PA support.
