Need help finding a song

[Funky Maple]

I believe it's a pop song with clear funk/disco influences. The singer is male. I don't know any words, the only thing I know is that at the end of every 4 bars or so the guitar is doing a ninth chord staccato (very similar to the beginning of Sex Machine by James Brown).

It's been bugging me all day and I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me... sorry for the very limited clues, that's the only thing I could recall about it

It's not this but Nile Rodgers was the key! The song I was looking for is Lady (Hear Me Tonight) by Modjo, who sampled Nile Rodgers's Soup For One! Thanks
