Hello everyone, this is my first post here and i want to be as straightforward as possible. I have a squier affinity PJ bass that i recently bought (which looks like this), and i want to change my pickguard. My problem is that i don't own a caliper pen so i can't measure the exact length. There are some alternatives like Musiclily and Hosco but i don't know which one to choose. Any help?

most aftermarket guards would fit that...i have 6 basses that have different PG's and never did a hole not line up...
Google Custom Pickguards. There are many options available. Be aware a Squier pickguard is not the same as a Fender pickguard.
You will not have to do custom measurements. Some of the custom makers will use a drawing you can make. Just remove the pickguard from your bass and trace the shape of the pickguard on paper. Be sure to mark the screw holes as well.

Well i thought so too, but was there any excessive space from pickguards-pickups?
That's actually a great idea, but i live in Turkey-meaning a custom pickup cost 3 times a generic one.
For comparison, i bought my bass for 10500TL (300ish usd), a generic pickup costs 900TL(27 usd) and a "custom" one costs 2900TL(85 usd). As a highschooler a custom is just not worth the price. BUT drawing before measuring is a genius idea, thank you for that!
some drop right in perfectly...but sometimes i had to file edges of pickup areas on the guard so it would fit over the existing pickups.
