Need Help Identifying Yamaha..

I find the RBX shape much more comfy and elegant than the BB or TRB. I wish they made more high end models out of it, like they did with the A2.

I have a couple older RBX's (one RBX260 and 260f), my only complaint is lack of shielding that can cause a little noise that goes away when you touch the strings or turn down the tone. I believe the newer models have the same problem. But that's a fairly cheap fix.
 
Great find! I love the RBX 170's!

Considering the price the build quality is amazing on them. I have one of the earlier rbx 170 models and it has been my main gigging bass for years. About 4 months ago I gutted the thing, shielded all the cavities, put in some bartolinis and bypassed the bridge Pup and tone knobs. Thing sounds amazing and I haven't had to adjust the neck once.
