Thanks all for voting and giving your opinion. It's much appreciated. However, this poll cost me money, because I went out and bought a gold anodized aluminum pickguard for it. Here are some pictures. I must say, it is much better than the white/parchment. Ugh, now that it looks this good may have to spend more money on a quality Levy's Leather strap.

It's a funny pickguard. In different light and photos it looks different from gold to off white.

Taking into account the look of your whole rig, I think the gold looks awesome. Seems right.
