Need help with emg crimp connector

So this is my first time ever changing out pickups. Got a set of emg geezers for a P bass.
Everything seemed to be going fine but when I went to crimp the grounds together one of them didn’t take.
What can I do to fix this?

Those connectors are one time only. All you can do is cut the wire as close to the connector as you can and try again. Home Depot has those connectors on the telephone and communication aisle. It helps to hold the wires in the connector and sort of wrap your index finger around the top of the connector to push the wires into it with one hand then squeeze the orange circle with pliers in the other hand.

The other option would be to learn to solder. It’s really not that hard.

Strangely enough I plugged it in just to see what would happen and it’s playing fine?……
I found that surprising but in a good way.
Going to have to shim the neck though.

Which ground is it? If it’s the bridge ground the pickup(s) will still work but might be noisier then if the bridge ground was connected.
