NEED HELP WITH SPEAKERS

Hey guys,,,
new to the forum.. I am trying to find some replacement speakers. checked e-bay and other site..
Where could i find a good deal on 4 10" speakers..
i use a mesa m-pulse 600 watt.. so i need something 4 ohm.. and would be able to handle the power..

its usually a good idea to stick with the speakers that originally the cab was designed to work with. for example if you ampeg whatever cab blows some speakers, find out the exact model of speaker that was used and get the SAME speaker.

you can run into problems if the random speaker you might choose has different specifications. I don't know the technical parameters, but there are several that can ruin or improve your sound depending on how good of a design job the original maker did.

if your lucky you can just open your cabinet and read on the speaker magnet eminece ??? model. then all you have to do is locate a dealer...

If these are replacement speakers to replace the ones in an existing cabinet it would help to know what that cabinet is.

As Mcrelly says, it's usually best to replace with the original speakers the manufacturer used. If the speakers aren't capable of handling all that power from the Mesa, then it's time for a better speaker cabinet. Maybe a pair of something from Mesa like a 1x15 and a 2x10.

I would be more along the lines of trying to just upgrade it... I am really not into the market to go and buy something brandnew..
i mean i know that it is nonsense to upgrade.. instead of get a new cab..
i have a 6"10 swr goliath senior.. I would just like to upgrade the 410...

If you can't spend the money for a better cabinet then it won't be any cheaper to replace the speakers in the hope of making it better. Sell the 4x10-buy a good used cabinet. As you said, "I know that it is nonsense to upgrade".
