Need schematic for ABY+Looper

It sounds like you have a bad switch or your switch is wired wrong (possibly not the same kind of switch we are thinking of). Try this diagram. It really shouldn't change anything if the switch is DPDT, but if it isn't wired right or isn't DPDT then it will definitely change something. It should work both ways, but those center wires are unnecessary and my first drawing now corresponds to this one.

Otherwise it looks kinda right to me. Perhaps you've got the 3PDT rotated 90 degrees?

I agree about the possibility of the 3PDT being aligned wrong, but that shouldn't effect the A+B switch. The more I look at it and listen to his description of the problem, it sounds like his switches are 1PDT with 2 sets of leads to attach to.

The 3PDT switch is fine. It's wired exactly like the diagram. It takes it's signal in and effects it as it should. I have an LED wired to it, and it lights up only when the loop is engaged. I had it in an unused looper pedal I made that functioned properly.

As for the switches, I'm 99.9% sure they're DPDT. The packaging they came in says DPDT on them, they have 6 leads a piece, and when I had it wired as just a ABY box (no loop) as in my basic color diagram it functioned as an ABY should.

Cheapbasslovin, I edited my post after you posted. I disconnected those two wires and there was no change.

Check really close for electrical shorts on the terminals, then try cutting the leads from the A+B switch and switching manually, and lastly if the AorB switch has gone bad then it could be feeding the signal to both sides no matter what switching you do. If new switches (or removing electrical shorts) doesn't work with this diagram, then I'm at a loss.

Well I took it apart the A+B switch, desoldered and cleaned up all the terminals, and soldered in new wires and it works as it should now. Thanks for all the help cheapbasslovin and niftydog.
