Then the Peavey or a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] may be right up your alley.. it is probably smaller than the Rumble and weighs in at 18lbs as well.. The Hartke is 15x13x12 ... but it is 33lbs.

I have an acoustic B15. Absolutely nothing sexy about it--other than it does the job. I've pretty much played it every night straight for the last 7 weeks (I've owned it for a couple years). Zero issues. I have used the headphone out, aux in and internal speaker extensively. About 25 pounds. The only thing concerning so far is the 1/8 inch jacks don't feel the stoutest, but they're still working fine. Enjoy your trip to the music store!
I was actually looking at those two. I'm currently leaning towards the Peavey, just because it seems to be the smallest I've found. But I'll see what GC and my local shop(where I'm heading as soon as I finish posting) has before I actually decide anything.

+1. Your needs, as you've described them, suggest a headphone amp. Vox makes one too.
I was looking at that Vox actually. Kinda thinking a headphone amp might be what I need. Though I was looking at those Fender Rumble amps in GC, and they seem really good. A bit bigger than I was looking for, but a much more manageable size than what I have now.
This is worth considering given your constraints...

i'm surprised not to see the ampeg BA108V2 here. good sound, light, and it's got a shape allowing you to kick it back if you want. it's also only $99. it's also smaller than some of the suggestions here.
